Margret Bourke-White

American Photographer of the 20th Century. Studied the arts at numerous schools, including University of Michigan and Purdue University. A woman of many 'firsts'- she was the first female phontojournalist for Life Magazine, in 1936. Also was the first woman to heavily document WW2 from battle ground. Life Magaine would further refer to her as "Maggie the Invincible" from what she managed to document and survive from.
